Future foods
What food crops are we likely to see being grown in the UK in the next few decades? There are a number of articles on this subject appearing. Anthropocene Magazine piece has these suggestions, plus a horrible AI-slop image. There are some crops which are already appearing in small quantities, although it will take a while before these are grown on the same scale as the current cultivation of crops such as sugar beet or potatoes.
