Eat more meat

Along with a whole range of actions which are unpalatable to anybody with morals, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health and Human Services has now changed their food pyramid.

The US Department of Agriculture first promoted the food pyramid in 1992, adapting a concept developed in Sweden in the 1970s. Every five years, HHS and the USDA update the dietary guidelines.

The change is towards eating more "real food" which is a good thing.

However, that includes eating more red meat.

There are some interesting climate implications of this change.
