The Jerseys have landed

Regular readers will know not only of my love of Jersey Royal new potatoes, but also that I sponsored my very own row of potatoes. They were lifted from the soil and delivered to my door last weekend and I have been enjoying them all week.

They are one of the foods which has a Protected Designation of Origin status... they have to be grown on Jersey of course.

I shall be eating these for the rest of the season...
